FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
Why do I need a web site for my business?

The Internet is a technology that hasn't been around as long as radio or television, but with more and more users logging on daily, your business needs to be online.

A simple question to ask yourself, "Is my competition online?" If they are, then you need to be there with them in order to compete. If not, well you now have the whole Internet market in your area! The Internet allows people to research a company ten fold more than any Yellow Pages ad. Even if your web site is just to tell your customers about what you do, it's much easier to tell them to go to your site than to explain every detail of your business.

Why should I use your company?

We designed this company to benefit our customers. Our customers are the people that keep us in business so we are 110% dedicated to you, the customer. We will do everything in our power to make you happy with our services. Our web sites are designed to be a hand's off, worry free investment for your business. Which is why we also offer 30 minutes a month* of maintenance time on your site as a perk to you. If there is ever a time where you want something done to your site, just email or call us and we will see to it that it is done as soon as possible!

* Anything above 30 minutes will be billed. See our "Pricing" page for specifics.

I have content that I want on the web site, how will you get that information?

We can put your custom text on your site, just email or snail mail us the text, and we will see to it that it makes it to your site . . . quickly! (Usually the same business day.)

Are there any hidden fees involved?

Absolutely not! The price set in the contract is the only price you will pay.

Can I hire you to thoroughly review our site for contingency design problems?

We love working with smart clients who appreciate customer-focused design. Get in touch with us.

Do you inform the companies when you spot a contingency design error on their site?

We do make an attempt to inform the company of the error, although sometimes it's difficult to make contact with someone who has the ability to correct the error.

Are you going out of your way to create errors no "normal" user would encounter?

No; we try our best to replicate normal usage of a site the same way regular folks might use it. In fact, many are found during our own regular surfing.

What is the turn-around for getting a new web site?

That depends on the complexity and detail of what you are looking to do with your web site. Generally, personal/family web sites take a lot less time to do than a straight-forward business brochure web site which takes a lot less time to create than a fully (re)designed fully functional business web site. In such cases, rough approximations can be given on a case-by-case basis. Remember, we do not use templates; each site is hand crafted from the ground up.

Do you provide copywriting services?

We do provide copywriting services and would be happy to do so if you do not have a dedicated, professional copywriter. Writing is NOT the place to skimp on your budget.

What's the difference between "refine, redesign, and new"?

Refine: Best for clients looking for "tune-ups," "tweaks," or minor changes to improve what is already in place.

Redesign: Best for clients in need of structural changes, massive usability improvements, and an overall improved design.

New: Best for clients without a site or one that really hasn't been taken seriously. Also ideal for first time intra/extranet design projects.
